(1) The pressure switch of the sprinkler system cannot directly start the fire pump.In some units, the pressure switch start signal of the wet sprinkler system is first fed back to the alarm controller, and then the controller sends a linkage command to start the fire pump.However, the "High Regulations" and "Self-spraying Regulations" stipulate that the pressure switch should be able to directly start the fire pump。 After some places with fire alarm systems are put into normal use for a period of time, due to improper maintenance and management of the alarm system, the system is damaged or malfunctions and cannot operate normally. At this time, once a fire occurs, the pressure switch cannot start the fire pump. The fire pump can be started manually, which delays the fire extinguishing opportunity.
(2) The linkage relationship between water flow indicator, pressure switch signal and water pump.The water flow indicator and pressure switch are devices that trigger their own actions due to the action of the water flow when the system is operating, and output electrical alarm signals to monitor whether the system is operating or not.The difference is that the water flow indicator is generally located at the junction of the horizontal pipe and the vertical pipe in the middle section, and the pressure switch is located on the hydraulic alarm bell entering the pipeline behind the wet alarm valve delay.In theory, any one of them can prove that the system has been activated (that is, the nozzle is turned on and the fire is started),In the actual situation, the water flow indicator and the pressure switch, especially the water flow indicator have many false alarms, so the linkage control of the sprinkler pump should be implemented after the water flow indicator and the pressure switch have both appeared and received. (That is, "AND" gate control), the linkage spray pump is started.Otherwise, the spray pump will be activated once the water flow indicator malfunctions or the pressure switch is actuated by the test water alarm bell.As a result, in daily use, in order to prevent the frequent start of the pump, the user put the linkage cabinet in the manual position, and even cut off the power supply of the fire pump. This will inevitably cause the system to slow down or fail and lose its due role in the event of a fire. .(3) The operation and maintenance personnel of the fire protection facilities of some enterprises do not understand the operation principle of the sprinkler system, and do not understand the operation process of the sprinkler head. Some people even think that as long as the smoke is generated, the wet sprinkler system will be activated, so the fire control room and the linkage cabinet are placed in manual gear.
